Everest For All

Cast in bronze, the sculpture represents a section of the Himalayan landscape, centred on Mount Everest, at a scale of 1:25000.

The size of the installation (60 cm x 60 cm) enabled the terrain to be accurately modeled with no vertical scale exaggeration.

The bronze is finished in a ferric and titanium patina to enhance the rocky terrain and to give an ice-like effect on areas of the surface.

By kind permission of the Swiss Embassy to the UK

Everest For All is currently on display in the Library at the Royal College for the Blind, Hereford.
